THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the CEO and Factory Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for the seamless integration and performance of all factory functions. You will drive strategic initiatives to optimize processes, control costs, ensure the highest quality standards, and lead a team of senior managers to achieve operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-End Operations Management: Oversee the entire factory operations flow, from material planning and procurement to production, quality control, warehousing, logistics, and on-time delivery of finished goods.
- Financial Stewardship: Work closely with the Finance department to manage the factory budget, control expenses, and drive cost-saving initiatives through lean manufacturing and process improvement projects.
- Quality & Compliance Leadership: Ensure strict adherence to all quality systems (ISO 9001, GDPMD, HALAL) and work with the Quality Assurance team to meet quality objectives and support audit activities.
- Engineering & Expansion: Actively lead and manage engineering, maintenance, and factory expansion projects to support growth and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Sourcing & OEM Management: Source and manage OEM partnerships for products not manufactured in-house, including negotiating contracts and establishing production and quality procedures. Involve in overseas OEM sourcing for cost optimization.
- People & Safety Leadership: Collaborate with HR to ensure adequate manpower, manage disciplinary matters, and champion a culture of safety, health, and environmental compliance. Chair the SHE committee and ensure a safe working environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key operational link between Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development teams to align production with market demand and innovation projects.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A proven leader with over 20 years of experience in a senior managerial position within a manufacturing environment (FMCG or chemicals preferred).
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001, GDPMD, and HALAL standards are essential.
- A strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and a proven track record in driving lean initiatives and process improvements to reduce costs.
- An exceptional leader with demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop a team of senior managers and their departments.
- A decisive, proactive, and independent professional with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, from the CEO to the shop floor.
