We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support in leading daily operations, supervising the on-ground team, and ensuring service excellence. This role bridges strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Oversight & Coordination
- Supervise day-to-day property operations, ensuring all units are guest-ready and maintained to brand standards.
- Coordinate and monitor the work progress of various operational teams, ensuring all tasks are completed according to schedule and service standards.
- Step in to handle escalated guest issues and urgent operational challenges, ensuring quick resolution.
2. Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Review guest feedback regularly, identifying areas for improvement in both service and property quality.
- Conduct spot checks and inspections to uphold cleanliness, functionality, and presentation standards.
3. Staff Supervision & Scheduling
- Assist in planning and approving staff schedules to ensure sufficient coverage during peak periods.
- Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Support the development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency across all operations.
4. Inventory & Procurement Management
- Oversee stock control for housekeeping supplies, amenities, and maintenance items.
- Approve purchasing requests and track expenses to remain within departmental budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, equipment, and replacement cycles.
5. OTA & Digital Support
- Review OTA listings to ensure accurate property details, photos, and pricing.
- Assist in monitoring booking performance, occupancy trends, and guest satisfaction scores.
- Coordinate with the digital team to align on promotional activities and seasonal pricing adjustments.
6. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare regular operational reports for the Operations Manager, highlighting occupancy rates, team performance, and guest satisfaction trends.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the adoption of new tools, technologies, or systems to improve workflow.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in hospitality or property management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management abilities; ability to multi-task in a high-demand environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
