Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
- Manage tender and contract documentation, including invitations, evaluations, and negotiations.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with budget and financial targets.
- Conduct site measurements and verify work progress for valuation of interim payments.
- Prepare and review progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients to resolve contractual and cost issues.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety requirements.
- Support project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in construction, property development, or related industries. (Fresh graduates with internships may be considered for junior roles)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, JKR, FIDIC) and cost management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or related QS software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
