1.0 Responsibilities & Authority:
1.1 Maintain and update all halal documentation and certification records.
1.2 Assist with the submission, renewal, and follow-up of halal certification applications with relevant authorities (e.g., JAKIM).
1.3 Coordinate with halal certification bodies, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance with halal requirements.
1.4 Organize and file halal-related documents for both internal and external audits.
1.5 Conduct routine internal checks to ensure ongoing compliance with halal standards and procedures.
1.6 Monitor, verify, and update the halal status of all raw materials, ingredients, and products.
1.7 Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team during halal inspections and audits.
1.8 Communicate halal requirements and updates to relevant departments and operational teams.
1.9 Verify that supply chain activities are in line with halal compliance.
1.10 Prepare halal compliance reports and submit them to management regularly.
1.11 Coordinate and support halal awareness programs and training initiatives across departments.
1.12 Assist in handling reports and investigations related to non-compliance with halal standards.
1.13 Support the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to halal processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
1.14 Organize and facilitate halal training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
1.15 Maintain and update the approved list of halal-certified suppliers and vendors.
1.16 Ensure halal principles are consistently applied and maintained throughout the organization.

2.6 Knowledge of halal certification processes, Islamic dietary laws, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JAKIM, MS1500).
2.7 Proficient in maintaining records and generating reports.
2.8 Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
2.9 Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
3.0 Qualifications & Experience:
3.1 Minimum Diploma or Degree in Administration, Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or any related field.
3.2 1–2 years of working experience in administration, QA/QC, or halal compliance roles.
3.3 Basic understanding of Islamic dietary guidelines and halal certification requirements.
