Position Overview
The Admin Assistant (Student Affairs) is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Student Affairs Department. This role ensures the smooth execution of student-related activities, welfare programs, and co-curricular initiatives while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent service to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Student Affairs team.
- Assist in coordinating student activities, events, and welfare programmes.
- Handle student enquiries and provide guidance on procedures, forms, and policies.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and documentation in compliance with institutional policies.
- Support in the preparation of reports, circulars, and communication for students and staff.
- Assist with hostel management, student discipline records, and counselling appointments where required.
- Liaise with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth student services.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support student development and welfare.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or clerical experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Friendly, approachable, and student-focused personality.
