The Opportunity
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow (RF) is expected to advance the Fintech Lab’s mission to bridge academia and industry. By collaborating with the Schools of Business and IT across the university’s Australia and Malaysia campuses, the RF ensures that research efforts are interdisciplinary and relevant, producing tangible outcomes like peer-reviewed publications and grant-funded initiatives that elevate the lab’s academic and practical impact. Beyond research, the RF serves as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and capacity building within the Fintech Lab. Through mentoring postgraduate students, engaging with industry partners, and delivering workshops or policy briefs, the RF helps translate complex fintech concepts into actionable insights that benefit stakeholders in Malaysia, Australia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Reporting line: The position reports to the Co-Director of the Monash Fintech Impact Lab.Why work with us?
