HR Manager Job Responsibilities:
Oversee full spectrum of HR, including:
- Managing production and plant-level employees in alignment with operational needs
- Handle employee relations by fostering a positive workplace culture, resolving conflicts, and maintaining staff morale
- Manage payroll and compensation, ensuring accurate processing, compliance with tax and labor laws, and collaboration with finance
- Lead performance management, including appraisals, KPI setting, and coaching for professional development
- Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and maintain accurate employee records and audit readiness
- Coordinate training and development programs, supporting career growth and succession planning, especially for operational roles
- Contribute to HR strategy, assist in workforce planning, and generate reports to support leadership decision-making
HR Manager Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and processes.
- Prior experience managing HR functions for manufacturing plants and production staff is required.
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll software, and MS Office tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (as frequent communication with the Chinese counterpart is required).
