About the role
Join the team at Rompin Rainforest Lodge as a Guest Service Agent. In this full-time role, you will be the face of our eco-lodge, providing exceptional customer service to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience during their stay in Rompin Pahang. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
What you'll be doing
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Respond to guest inquiries and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Provide information about the lodge's amenities, activities, and local attractions
- Assist with making reservations, taking payments, and maintaining accurate guest records
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and guest service areas
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest relations role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle any issues that may arise
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences
