Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Account Executive to join our Finance team in an Interior Design & Construction company located at the hub SS2, petaling jaya. This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting duties, purchasing tasks, and delivery coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and monthly closing activities.
- Manage daily fi nance operations: data entry, invoicing, payments, bank reconciliation, and filing.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, source quotations, and liaise with suppliers
- Monitor and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials and goods.
- Maintain proper purchasing records and inventory documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly fi nancial reports and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements including SST.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and suppliers when needed.
- Assist in improving internal processes for better financial and procurement efficiency
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to purchasing.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. AutoCount) will be added advantage.
- Experience in E-invoicing will be added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in the interior design, construction, or project-based industries is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
