The Lendlease Investment Management business is seeking to hire an experienced Asset Manager to join the team based in Kuala Lumpur. As part of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Asset Strategy & Enhancement
Develop asset plans to position retail asset for optimal performance.
Lead asset enhancement initiatives to improve tenant mix, footfall, and overall asset value.
Analyse mall revenue drivers and evaluate expense components.
Provide insights into retail trends, tenant performance, and leasing strategies to improve asset profitability.
Identify opportunities to optimize net operating income through cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
Financial Analysis & Valuation
Build and maintain financial models to forecast asset returns and evaluate performance.
Monitor market trends and asset value fluctuations to support investment decisions.
Liaise with independent valuers during valuation processes
Contribute to asset budgeting and planning to enhance long-term performance.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Develop clear, data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior management
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, with expertise within retail or REIT sectors.
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Economics, Business, or Finance.
Strong understanding of asset valuation methodologies and property management principles.
Good report writing skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and effectively to senior leadership
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
