Company Information:
Our established client, who is a well established MNC food manufacturer is currently looking for a creative and high driven candidate to fill the position of Assistant Product Manager (APAC), to be based in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a supporter-and-creator at APAC zone level, working closely with Senior Category Manager.
- Act as a supporter at country level on product/category related projects, work closely with Senior Category Manager and country Product Managers for market deployment.
- Integrated and consistent Marketing Plan supporter to zone level function (New Product Development, category strategy and management, best practices sharing & marketing administrative work).
Growth plan and reports at market level:
- Assist in management reports preparation and analysis, including on-going Brand Health and campaign tracking, category performance, product and pricing information and analysis by working closely with Senior Category Manager, country Product Managers & Analysis & Insight team.
- Support Senior Category Manager by liaising closely with Finance, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain and country Product Managers to track and monitor New Product Development Progress and SKU Rationalization Project.
- Liaise & work closely with Senior Category Manager & external agency (creative, research, licensing etc) on regional brand campaign, collaboration project and research study.
Market level marketing activities:
- Support zone/regional Brand Campaign execution & deployment. Facilitate & consolidate markets’ category trend, / product & competitors’ intelligence & share across zone.
- Responsible for product label and packaging development by working with external agencies and related internal functions.
- Act as point of contact and knowledge centre for any matter from Headquarters, zone and local markets/ countries.
- Support Senior Category Manager in the implementation and co-ordination of category / product information, product development, SKU rationalization and marketing collaterals from zone level i.e. drive consistency among zone level, sharing of best practices and building database for resource sharing i.e. recipes, marketing campaign, creative design, labels etc.
- Responsible for marketing administrative work including but not limited to creation of purchase orders, updating of product information, updating of customer/chef database, pricing and recipes archive and PCRS creation etc.
- To work on special assignments assigned by Senior Category Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
- At least 4 years of working experience in the same or relevant capacity, preferably from FMCG or similar industry.
- Good command of written and spoken English, and Malay. Candidates with knowledge of other languages, including Mandarin (Conversational or written or both) will have added advantage.
- Well discipline with growth mind-set, action oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, good time management & innovative.
- Willing to travel overseas whenever required.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and Photoshop will be an advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
