Overview:
A business sourcing specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, both locally and overseas. Your focus will be on sourcing quality products and services that meet company standards for cost-effectiveness, lead time, and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new supplier opportunities for products, packaging, printing services, and logistics (local and international).
- Evaluate supplier capacities, pricing structures and comparison, pricing negotiation, and service quality to ensure alignment with company needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring long-term collaboration.
- Work closely with the Purchasing, Sales, Design, and Operations teams to align sourcing activities with customer requirements and project timelines.
- Stay informed on market trends, material availability, and alternative sourcing options to mitigate supply risks.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement in sourcing and supplier engagement
Requirements :
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, no prior working experience needed.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field fresh graduate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Highly analytical with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, quotation comparisons, and basic purchasing systems.
- Able to manage multiple sourcing tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to engage with international (especially China) suppliers
- Mandarin proficiency is necessary
