Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support & Coordination
- Assist the sales team with quotations, proposals, and customer follow-ups.
- Coordinate with liners, carriers, and vendors to obtain competitive rates and service schedules.
- Support in preparing and updating SOPs for client operations and internal processes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pricing, and shipment details.
- Make cold calls to potential clients to secure new business opportunities.
2. Costing & Pricing
- Prepare cost sheets and pricing analysis for various logistics services (air, sea, land).
- Negotiate rates with service providers and ensure cost efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and update pricing strategies accordingly.
3. Operational Support
- Liaise with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely execution of shipments.
- Track and report shipment status to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation standards.
4. Travel Requirements:
- Minimal travel required; primarily office-based role.
- Occasional visits to vendors, carriers, or client sites may be needed for coordination or relationship management (less than 10%).
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field
- Fresh graduates with a background in logistics are encouraged to apply!
- At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to prepare quotations and cost sheets
- Familiar with air, sea, and land logistics services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Words, Excel, Power Point)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to work independently and with a team
