Job Summary
The HR Manager / HR Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the HR department in all aspects of human resources management and administration. This role assists in implementing HR policies, managing recruitment, employee relations, development, payroll coordination, and performance management systems.
Job Responsibilities: -
Payroll
- Responsible payroll processing to ensure monthly payroll calculation is accurate and timely payout as per payroll calendar.
- Payroll / EPF / SOCSO and income tax deductions.
- Notification of new employee and resigned employee to IRD (i.e. Form CP22, CP22A)
- Annual EA form and Income tax filing
- Responsible for all internal and external payroll reports and the annual and ad-hoc payroll-related report
- Acts as the primary contact for all payroll related queries.
- Maintain & Complete HR / payroll operations by following the Company Policies & Procedures.
HR Administration
- Update, implement, and maintain the Organization Chart, HR policies, and employee handbook.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Fully administering all HR records and data in the employee master database and the payroll system.
- Issue and record all HR documents, i.e. Letter of Employment, Confirmation, Promotion, Extension, salary increment, resignation, etc.
- Maintenance of employees' personal files
- Work with the department head to issue and monitoring staff performance appraisal forms for confirmation and annual increment.
- Assist in performance appraisal systems and ensure timely reviews and feedback cycles.
- Provide an updated monthly listing of the new and resigning employee and updating the appointed healthcare providers.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports, i.e. HR dashboard, Salary and benefits survey, etc.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct new employees' onboarding program to educate and engage employees towards the organizational image and objectives.
- Responsible for the full recruitment process for the organization to include, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references and onboarding qualified candidates based on departmental business needs and requests.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Preparing headcount and movement reports
- Support audits and ensure HR compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Take responsibility in understanding the role offered, market price, and location to source out such talent.
- Support employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Administer and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including training needs assessments and delivery.
Job Requirement: -
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of relevant HR experience; experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role is preferred.
- Good knowledge on market intelligence understanding based available talent in the market and position they are hiring for.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRMS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
