HR & Admin Executive

As the HR & Admin Executive at Wanderlust + Co, you will support the operations team in retail activities, order coordination, inventory support, and general store and office maintenance. Training and guidance will be provided. Candidate should be proactive, reliable, and detail oriented, with the willingness to be responsible for your own domain and collaborate with management team to drive growth and operational improvements. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
60% Human Resource
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and liaising with hiring managers and the management.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes alongside the HR & Finance team.
- Update and maintain the company’s organisational chart, headcount tracking and job descriptions.
- Update and maintain the team’s attendance schedule and records.
- Assist with the planning and administration of performance reviews (e.g., annual reviews andperformance review).
- Help ensure team compliance with HR policies, SOPs and relevant labour laws; escalate and problem solve any grievances.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation (leaves, claims, time off, etc.) using HR software or manual tracking as needed.
- Work with management to coordinate learning and development efforts, company events and internal training programs.
- Support internal culture and wellness initiatives (e.g., planning team celebrations, gifts, internal comms, and other morale-boosting efforts).
- Assist across research, or general HR/ops admin or other ad hoc tasks to support the teams
- Observe any department or inter-departmental needs or communication methods and suggest/implement improvements where necessary
25% General Administration
- Oversee daily office administration: supplies, cleanliness, facility management, and liaising with vendors or technicians.
- Maintain upkeep and coordinate maintenance of office premises to ensure the space is safe, cleanand optimized for work.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.
- Assist with travel arrangements for team members, including booking flights, accommodations, and travel claims.
15% Support on Customer Service & Operations
- Help conduct stock counts at warehouse and store levels and update inventory data.
- Assist basic tasks such as product exchanges, returns, or item redeliveries with guidance.
- Handle customer service to provide updates on orders, stock availability, and returns.
Requirements
- Familiar with basic HR processes and Malaysia’s labour law.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with cloud-basedtools.
- A team player with a can-do attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
