We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Intern to join our team at R Pharmacy. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where you'll contribute directly to our mission of providing convenient, personalized, and affordable healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Manage incoming goods by verifying their contents and condition. You will unpack, confirm quantities, and efficiently put stock away in the correct locations while ensuring all documentation is accurate to minimize errors.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack stock based on picklists, following established procedures. Prepare and label cartons, and stage them in designated bays for timely delivery.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain daily inventory records, ensuring all system documentation is precise and current.
- Operational Support: Complete essential system tasks and handle reports to maintain data accuracy. You will also communicate effectively with your team and other departments to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a relevant degree or diploma program.
- can commit to a 5-day work week for a minimum of 3 months.
- have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- good at managing your time and meeting deadlines.
- have basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus, but not required.
