Summary
The Junior Executive – Supply Demand Optimization provides support in coordinating supply and demand activities by assisting with data collection, order tracking, and communication between farm, packing, and business development teams. This role helps ensure accurate planning and smooth execution of customer orders under supervision.
Key Expectations
- Assist in supporting demand forecasting and supply coordination activities.
- Help monitor inventory and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in report preparation.
- Communicate effectively with farm, packing, and business development teams.
- Work collaboratively within the supply chain team to ensure smooth operations.
- Learn and contribute to improving supply demand processes.
Responsibilities
Demand Support
- Assist in gathering sales data, customer orders, and market information to support demand forecasting.
- Help update demand forecasts and communicate changes to relevant teams.
Supply Coordination Assistance
- Support coordination between farm production, packing, and business development to align supply with demand.
- Assist in tracking order status and ensuring timely communication of supply requirements.
Inventory Monitoring
- Help monitor inventory levels and product movement to support stock optimization efforts.
- Report any discrepancies or stock issues to senior team members.
Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in preparing reports related to demand forecasts, inventory status, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support supply demand activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other supply chain team members to facilitate smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and support communication flow between departments.
Process Improvement Support
- Identify basic issues or inefficiencies and suggest improvements under guidance.
- Learn to use supply chain software and tools to support planning activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Some experience or internship in demand planning, supply chain, or related roles is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of supply chain or demand planning concepts preferred.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
