Job Responsibilities:
- Manage storage inventory levels to align with company targets, maintaining optimal safety stock levels and preventing stockouts.
- Monitor and achieve monthly inventory days of supply (DOS) targets, while actively working to reduce excess inventory.
- Analyze and anticipate demand fluctuations by considering key influencing factors such as festive seasons, monsoon periods, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to track delivery progress and ensure prompt resolution of any delivery-related issues.
- Oversee and manage inventory tracking systems and IT platforms related to shipment, stock management, and goods supply.
- Identify, report, and escalate potential supply chain risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepare procurement and inventory-related reports for management review and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams from merchandising, operations, distribution, and other supply chain departments to implement continuous improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles.
- Solid understanding of logistics processes and inventory control practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and advanced mathematical skills.
- Experience in conducting statistical analysis for data-driven decision making.
