Sourcing Executive JOB OBJECTIVE The sourcing executive, to source high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization and assist organization in creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones. Sourcing executive will actively analyze and review project costing, sourcing goods, materials, and service at competitive prices, quality then advising upper-level staff members on which supplier to contract with. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Involve in the end-to-end sourcing and suppliers contract management process. Handle substantial cost savings projects and cost reduction for the organization. Solicit, analyze, and compare bids through Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) from existing suppliers and new potential suppliers. Strategize and negotiate actively with suppliers for the advantageous terms. Ensure contracts are fully addressed and appropriate, in terms of the requirements and commercial terms. Evaluate sourcing levers for all projects – supply market leverage, supply base restructuring, valuable relationships, design/specification optimization, total cost management, process efficiency & compliance. Perform supplier evaluation & selection process to ensure secured quality supplies and cost-efficient for the organization. Entry procurement data which related to procurement process in organization’s ERP system. Attend events, fairs, and exhibitions to keep abreast of the market’s trends. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum SPM, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in any field or technical field is preferred. At least 2 years working in sourcing, purchasing, technical knowledge is preferred. Good command of written and verbal English and converse well in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong computer application skills in MS Office i.e. Excel and Word. Resourceful, possess good negotiation skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, strong analytical/structural skills.
