SUMMARY
The Social Media Analyst helps businesses track and analyze their online presence and manage interactions on social media platforms, transforming data into actionable insights. They monitor social conversations, identify trends, and report on key performance indicators to optimize strategies and enhance engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and Analysis: Track social media activity, analyze data from various platforms (e.g., Emplifi, Sprinklr, BrandWatch native insights).
- Reporting and Insights: Create reports on social media performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Strategy Development: Adjust social media strategies based on data-driven insights to improve engagement, reach, and overall impact.
- Community Engagement Support: Support social media executives and stakeholders by providing recommendations based on social listening and analysis.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Translate complex data into concise and compelling stories that inform brand and social strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including social intelligence leads, social executives, strategy & creative teams, and brand teams.
- Trend Identification: Identify emerging trends and key conversations within the social media landscape.
- Crisis Monitoring: Set up alerts for crisis monitoring and emerging trends.
REQUIREMENTS
- Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of social media platforms, strategies, and best practices.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis techniques, and experience with social media analytics tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
- Trendspotting: Ability to identify emerging trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Reporting: Experience in creating and delivering social media reports.
