Job Description
- Managing company social media accounts.
- Community management – responding to audiences in a timely manner.
- Creating and managing social media calendars.
- Developing, planning and executing engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly
- scheduled and ad-hoc posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused
- messages across all platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
- YouTube, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.
- Collaborating with Videographers, Photographers, and Graphic Designers to ensure that
- posts are engaging.
- Optimizing content for publication across various social media sites.
- Scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
- Monitoring users' engagement and feedback on every post.
- Maintaining a secure database of all login credentials.
- Remaining abreast of changes to all pertinent social media and marketing applications.
- Exploring the potential value of social media sites that are not yet in our repertoire.
- Monitoring and developing reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
- Identifying new social media trends and developing content to keep audiences engaged.
- Consciously promoting and advertising our products and brands on socials and during
- events.
- Ability to coordinate and design promotional material for online and offline channels.
- Assist with the planning of interviews and other marketing campaigns.
- Gathering customer feedback for the improvement of the sales team.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s
- Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism,
- Creative Writing, Business, Advertising, Media, Marketing, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other
- social media best practices, including their algorithms and pertinent engagement metrics.
- Understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid social
- media advertisements and other marketing campaigns.
- Highly adaptable, patient, organized, disciplined, good in time management, and able to
- work under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, independent, and is able to follow instructions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Malay, Tamil and Mandarin will be
- an added advantage).
- Basic knowledge in video editing and graphic design will be an added advantage.
- Creative, easy-going, and can adapt to sudden deadlines.
- Familiar with B2B and B2C marketing campaigns.
