Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Travel Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages, providing expert advice to clients, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements. Also, we are hiring a responsible and energetic Tour Leader to accompany and manage travel groups throughout their trips, ensuring smooth coordination, safety, and a memorable travel experience.
Key Responsibilities Sales Travel Consultant:
- Promote and sell domestic and international travel packages to individual and group clients.
- Provide travel recommendations based on customer preferences, budget, and travel history.
- Prepare quotations, customized itineraries, and travel-related documents (flight tickets, hotel bookings, insurance, etc.).
- Handle travel bookings and maintain accurate client records.
- Follow up with leads and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, destinations, and competitor offerings.
Key Responsibilities Tour Leader:
- Escort tour groups on domestic and international trips from start to finish.
- Brief tour participants on itineraries, travel arrangements, safety guidelines, and local customs.
- Ensure group punctuality and itinerary compliance throughout the trip.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and local guides to coordinate services.
- Assist travelers with any issues or emergencies during the tour.
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and the company during the trip.
- Collect feedback and prepare post-tour reports for company review.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM; Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or customer service role is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Familiarity with booking systems, travel platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Friendly, service-oriented, and result-driven.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
- Experience as a Tour Leader or Group Escort preferred.
- Possession of a valid Tour Leader License (KPL) is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a bonus.
- Physically fit and willing to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods.
- Calm, responsible, and professional in managing group dynamics and emergencies.
