We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing contract administration, cost management, and commercial aspects of our construction projects from pre-contract to final account.
Responsibilities:
- Involve in preparation and submission of monthly progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts for both clients and subcontractors.
- Attend and represent the company in site meetings, valuations, and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed quantity measurement and ensure accurate contract administration throughout project lifecycle.
- Oversee tender submissions, including cost estimation, rate build-ups, and value engineering analysis.
- Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Assist the Contract Manager in cost control, budget monitoring, and commercial forecasting.
- Mentor and supervise junior QS staff, providing guidance on contract and cost management tasks.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts to optimize value for the company.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in handling contracts, claims, and commercial management.
- Strong knowledge in cost estimation, claims preparation, certifications, and contractual procedures.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
