Role and Responsibilities
- Own product roadmap, prioritization, and backlog; define propositions, UX frameworks, and product requirements aligned with market trends and user needs to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather feedback and ensure cohesive product messaging and delivery.
- Define priority features based on customer impact, effort, and business alignment.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and key customers to enhance collaboration, improve service-level agreements (SLAs), and resolve critical issues.
- Drive product enhancements and innovation by identifying emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive market dynamics.
- Analyze market trends and user data to identify areas for improvement and innovation opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from planning to launch.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of remittance
- transactions.
- Ability to conduct and deliver product training and documentation for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1–3 years) as a product management role or similar role in the digital, tech or fintech industry.
- Possess excellent research and analytical skills, with a proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret market insights and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies with ability to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories that drive successful product development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, user interface design, and user experience principles.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively within a team and across the organization with minimal supervision, independently driving results toward agreed goals.
- Strong communication abilities, effectively translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Financial Services (Remittance) is a plus.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, Jira, system integrations, and transaction workflows is a plus.
