Job Summary:
Quick Ride Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations related to vehicle movement and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of vehicles within the business, coordinating closely with workshops, and ensuring operational efficiency, vehicle readiness, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Monitor and manage the daily movement of vehicles across all company locations (pick-up, drop-off, delivery, transfers, etc.).
2) Plan, schedule, and supervise logistics related to vehicle deployment and returns.
3) Liaise with external and internal workshops to ensure timely vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections.
4) Track maintenance schedules, repair status, and ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations (PUSPAKOM, JPJ, etc.).
5) Maintain accurate vehicle records, service history, and operational logs.
6) Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure vehicle availability aligns with bookings and demand.
7) Implement and improve operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
8) Supervise and train ground staff (drivers, logistics coordinators, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
9) Monitor fleet condition and coordinate with the procurement team for vehicle replacement or disposal.
10) Prepare reports on vehicle performance, maintenance costs, workshop turnaround times, and other KPIs.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Automotive, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet operations or automotive service management.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and workshop operations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially with external vendors and internal teams.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
