Job Overview:
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of sea freight shipments. This position demands a strong command of logistics, documentation, and communication to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards, while optimizing operational performance. This role is essential for companies involved in global trade, as it ensures that export shipments are handled efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with international standards.
Job Descriptions :
- Plan and execute shipments, ensuring timely container bookings with shipping lines. Coordinate cargo pickup, stuffing, and delivery to ports in line with schedules.
- Prepare and verify export documentation, including Bill of Lading, shipping instructions, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment updates, requirements, and troubleshooting.
- Provide regular updates on shipment statuses and address inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and agents to secure competitive rates and services. Work closely with internal departments such as customer service, sales and finance to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and control freight costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Identify areas for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve issues related to delays, documentation errors, or cargo discrepancies proactively.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma, preferable major in Business Administration, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.
- At least (2-5) years of working experience in transportation/Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred, candidate with logistic background is encouraged to apply.
- Experience in handling hauler and dealing with shipping liners.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and Standard Operational Procedures for Ocean Product Operations International Freight Shipping Terms (Incoterms)
- Must have knowledge, logistics requirements and market trend.
- Good computer proficiency in MS Office

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
