Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate locum doctor with a special interest in men’s health to join our team on a temporary or as-needed basis. The role involves diagnosing, managing, and providing treatment for a range of male health concerns, including sexual health, hormonal issues, and general wellness. The ideal candidate will be confident in providing discreet and professional consultations, with strong patient communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct confidential consultations for men’s health issues, including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low testosterone, prostate health, and other male-specific concerns.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate treatments in line with clinical guidelines and clinic protocols.
- Order and interpret relevant investigations such as blood tests, hormone profiles, and diagnostic imaging.
- Provide lifestyle advice, counselling, and education to patients on sexual health, wellness, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient privacy, safety, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Preferably Malay
- Experience or interest in men’s health, sexual medicine, or urology preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a locum schedule.
- Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality.
Working Hours & Arrangement:
- Flexible shifts based on clinic needs (weekday evenings/weekends preferred).
- Paid per session or hourly rate depending on arrangement.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent (registered with MMC & valid APC).
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge or experience in men’s health (sexual wellness, hormonal therapy, PRP for ED, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
