Qualifications & experience
- Diploma / Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry / Biomedical Science / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Genetic.
- Master degree in biological science major in genetic is an advantage.
- Computer literate with skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional spoken languages would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years' experience is required in above field.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Conforms to conduct of professional activities in accordance with the ethical standards of the profession.
- Responsible for the day-to-day laboratory operations and the accuracy of report / test.
- Attends to all urgent requests with immediate attention and ensures that lab task are completed within the expected turn around time.
- Involves in the continuous safety and performance improvement activities within the service and hospital wide.
- Assists in the introduction of new tests, improvement on techniques and planning of budget and resource utilisation.
- Flexible and adaptable to accommodate the work commitments of our laboratories-including weekend work and occasional public holidays.
