We are looking for a Laboratory Technician for one of our Lab which is based in Port Klang, Selangor
Job Description:
- To carry out oil laboratory testing by the Senior Chemist or Chemist.
- Perform daily QC checks as required by Laboratory Management System and the Test Methods.
- Participate in PT program to ensure continuous competency.
- To ensure all quality product is on specs and inform process department for any abnormalities.
- To handle and ensure dispatch process running smoothly.
- To make sure all testing result are being recorded and kept for traceability.
- To ensure all equipment are calibrated.
- To maintain cleanliness for lab and dispatch area.
- During shutdown, assist in plant maintenance.
- Any other duties as assigned by superior.
Job Requirement
- Preferably SPM/Diploma in related field
- Advantage for candidates with experience in chemical/petrochemical or any related field.
- Familiar with lab analysis and data reporting.
- Staying nearby Port Klang area will be an added advantage.
- Good attitude, work ethic, hardworking responsible and serious in work.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Prefer for male candidate due to work environment and shift condition.
- Hostel is available upon availability.
