Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot extruder machines and other heavy machinery.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and minimize downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and identify issues before they escalate.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting
Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs on extruder machines, crushers, conveyors, and other production equipment.
- Replace worn-out parts and ensure proper calibration of machines.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production delays.
Installation & Setup
- Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new machines or machine parts.
- Ensure machines are aligned and adjusted according to production requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all machinery is operated in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to prevent hazards and maintain a safe workplace.
- Keep maintenance records and report issues to the supervisor/engineer.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with production teams to ensure machinery supports production targets.
- Assist engineers in upgrading machinery and improving efficiency.
- Provide technical support during machine trials or process improvements.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining extruders and heavy machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Senai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
