Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Shift Technician – Mechanical to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical machines with pneumatic systems during your shift. Your goal is to ensure smooth production by minimizing machine downtime and performing preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic equipment quickly during your shift
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspections
- Assist machine operators with setup and adjustments
- Ensure machines operate safely and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare shift reports
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and pneumatic maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and adaptable to changing priorities
- Willing to work shifts, including Sundays and Public Holidays
