Marketing & Media Executive Role Description
Reports to: Line Manager
Liaises with: Senior Management Team
Purpose of the Role
To lead and support the company’s marketing and sales efforts across all channels, ensuring brand growth, customer engagement, and sales performance. This role involves creating engaging content, connecting with customers, and promoting the brand through various activities. The candidate will also manage collaborations with bloggers and influencers, from initial contact to final execution, to amplify the brand’s reach.
The ideal candidate should be an ambivert or extrovert with strong discipline, excellent time management skills, and a passion for working with people. While knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is not required, familiarity with other editing tools is advantageous.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Visual Storytelling
- Capture beautiful and engaging moments to represent the brand effectively through photography and videography.
- Plan and create videos, including concept development, shooting, and editing using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or alternative software.
- Stay active and visible in customer areas, ensuring the brand's vibrancy and energy are well represented.
2. Blogger and Influencer Collaboration
- Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with bloggers and influencers who align with the brand’s image and goals.
- Manage collaborations from start to finish, including negotiating terms, providing creative direction, and overseeing the execution of campaigns.
- Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns to ensure ROI and brand alignment.
3. Customer Engagement and Face-to-Face Interaction
- Build strong relationships with customers through direct interaction, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Actively seek feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Represent the brand’s personality by being approachable, personable, and engaging.
4. Marketing and Campaign Management
- Plan, schedule, and manage social media content to build brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Oversee digital campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, and leverage AI tools for optimization.
- Write compelling content for social media posts, newsletters, and digital platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve results.
5. Sales Strategy and Loyalty Member Development
- Design and execute strategies to drive online and in-store sales while cultivating loyalty among patrons.
- Build and maintain the company’s loyalty club membership, encouraging repeat customers and re-engaging inactive members.
- Regularly report on sales and engagement metrics to meet or exceed set KPIs.
6. Operational Support
- Assist the FOH team during busy periods as back up, particularly on weekends and peak hours, ensuring seamless operations.
- Actively participate in brand activations, promotional events, and on-site activities to enhance the customer experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Local Malaysian
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Digital Marketing / Marketing role.
- People-oriented: Must love being around people, with strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, bloggers, influencers, and team members.
- Personality: Ambivert or extrovert with a dynamic, outgoing nature and the ability to energize those around them.
- Discipline and Time Management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Content Creation: Comfortable creating videos and capturing moments; experience with editing software (Adobe Creative Suite or alternatives) is a plus but not required.
- Digital Marketing: Familiarity with social media platforms and tools like Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, and AI tools is an advantage.
- Blogger and Influencer Management: Experience or willingness to manage collaborations, ensuring smooth execution and measurable outcomes.
- Customer Focus: Eagerness to connect with customers and represent the brand positively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
