Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and bilingual Marketing & Social Media Assistant to support our growing digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, understands digital trends, and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow social media platforms: Xiao Hong Shu (小红书), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content (posts, videos, stories)
- Monitor social media engagement, comments, and platform trends
- Assist in campaigns, online promotions, and event marketing
- Translate and localize content between English and Mandarin
- Support in content performance tracking and basic marketing reporting
- Assist with graphic and video content using design tools
- Work from Monday - Friday and half day on Saturday.
- 1-Year Contract (Performance-based conversion to full-time role)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate/Diploma in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written & spoken)
- Familiar with Chinese platforms like Xiao Hong Shu (小红书)
- Experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing
- Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro preferred)
- Strong sense of design, trends, and visual storytelling
- Responsible, fast learner, and team player
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1+ years of experience are preferred
- Willing to work at Chan Sow Lin Industrial Area, KL.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
