Job Purpose *
- To structure and execute Sustainable Finance transactions (including through Sustainability Advisory mandates) with clients.
- To assist with overall Business Development and Governance of Sustainable Finance / Sustainability in Group Islamic Banking.
Key Responsibilities *
- To structure and execute Sustainable Finance transactions across economic sectors, customer segments and product offering to suit client requirements.
- To structure and execute Sustainability Advisory mandates either through internal execution or with external consultants in any discipline i.e. environmental, social and governance.
- To assist with Sustainable Finance growth initiatives that complement Group Business Units.
- To assist with advising Group Islamic Banking stakeholders on Sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Policies & Procedures.
Job Specification *
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics etc.) or Science (e.g. Engineering, Enviornmental Science etc.)
- Relevant Work Experience : 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking including Sustainability-related transactions and/or advisory
