Role: Inventory Controller Executive (Production & Manufacturing)
Department : Production Reporting Manager
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: RM2,700 – RM3,500
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (9am–6pm)
Work Location: Banting / Puchong
Work Summary
- To responsible for overseeing the inventory of finish goods, semi-raw materials and raw material, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory records are accurate and up to date. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing stock movement and implementing inventory control systems to optimize the company’s inventory process.
Inventory management:
- Track stock levels time to time, and monitor reordering schedules
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of inventory transactions (eg., receiving raw material, delivery and returns)
- Organize and control inventory in storage areas to minimize loss, damage or waste.
- Ensure standard packing contain correct quantity of goods
Stock control:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that there is enough stock to meet demand without excess. Analyze inventory trends, forecast needs and keep stock and place orders accordingly.
- Perform regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and no variance.
Data entry and reporting:
- Enter and update inventory data in the company’s database or inventory management system (SQL system)
- Generate regular inventory reports and track discrepancies or inventory errors. Investigate and highlight to management.
Supplier coordination:
- Liaise with suppliers to place orders and track deliveries
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods from suppliers and update inventory records accordingly.
- Resolve any issues related to damaged goods, wrong quantities or delays in shipments.
Warehouse management:
- Assist with the organization of warehouse space and optimize layout for efficient stock retrieval. Work with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing and delivering processes.
Quality control:
- Conduct quality checks on stock items to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to resolve quality issues with suppliers
Process improvement:
- Identify areas for improving inventory control processes and implement best practices.
- Work closely with the operations team to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Any other duties as instructed by the management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software tools (SQL or similar). MS office (MS Word & MS Excell)
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Training: Basic Understanding of Inventory Management, Stock audit and handling, ISO, Effective storekeeping and others.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
