Job Overview
The primary purpose of HR Executive (Payroll & HR Operations) is to ensure timeliness and accuracy in all activities relating to Payroll administration and processing. HR & Payroll Executive should also support in all activities pertaining to Improving HR policies and procedures. HR & Payroll Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring we have a comprehensive system and structure to help the Group in engaging, empowering, and retaining employees. This role should provide an effective and efficient output of work to meet the demands made of the role, and to assist in all aspects of the work undertaken by the Human Resources Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure timeliness and accuracy in all activities relating to payroll administration and processing.
- Assist in all statutory related matters, ensure timely calculation, submission, and filing of related documents.
- Administer employee’s personal files and ensure all HR files and databases are consistently updated.
- Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful.
- Ensuring timelines are being met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance.
- Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements are according to the rules and regulations of income tax.
- Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making.
- Assist in Monthly payroll provisions to Finance.
- To handle and assist in medical claims, leave management and insurance related matters.
- Liaise with the relevant governing bodies (when required) on human resource matters.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes and procedures as and when required.
- Prepare intercompany reconciliation and report.
- Handle tax clearance.
- Assist in payroll audit exercise.
- Handle HR Administrative related tasks.
- Monitor employees’ progress and stay abreast of company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
- To ensure all HR activities are in full compliance with statutory requirements, all labour and Industrial relation related laws.
- Attend system training or all other relevant training.
- Assist in all other HR functions and activities including but not limited to administrative duties, filing and report preparation, compensation and benefits, HRIS and HR operations as per the management and team’s direction.
- Perform additional assignments as per managements’ direction.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience as Payroll personnel would be preferred. Fresh graduate with the right working attitude and maturity will be considered.

- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Mature personality, attention to details, meticulous, honest and high integrity level.
- Ability to remain discreet and handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Good with numbers, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, accountancy, business studies or related field.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR software programs.
- Well-versed in Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967 with good knowledge of prevailing HR practices.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
