Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process for various hotel departments.
- Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and facilitate onboarding.
- Maintain updated manpower plans in coordination with department heads.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for staff queries and grievances.
- Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and events.
Training & Development
- Assist in planning and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Maintain training records and track employee development.
- Coordinate with HODs to identify skill gaps and training needs.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and update employee records (attendance, leaves, payroll data).
- Support salary processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local labor regulations.
Performance Management
- Assist in implementing appraisal processes.
- Provide feedback support and documentation.
- Monitor probation and confirmation timelines.
General Administration
- Prepare HR reports and maintain HRMIS.
- Support in drafting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with management on HR initiatives to improve staff satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
