Overview
The HR Executive plays a crucial role in the human resources department by supporting various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. The role involves ensuring that HR operations run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the creation of a positive and productive workplace.
Duties:
Recruitment:
· Coordinate recruitment activities such as advertising, screening, interview schedule and selection process.
· Upkeep the job descriptions and specifications.
Employee Life Cycle and HR Operations:
· Execute full spectrum of Human Resource operations include payroll processing, staff, staff insurance, staff benefit program & etc. and perform all other related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
· Onboarding/Offboarding - Support all stages of the employee life cycle (post recruitment) from new hire orientation to development and support, to offboarding and termination/exits.
· Observe and follow up on staff probation and confirmation and contract renewal.
· Prepare and manage HR related documentation and correspondence.
· Update and maintain employee’s attendance and leave record.
· Produce monthly reports to management for payroll or analysis purposes.
Compliance and Recordkeeping:
· Upkeep the staff personal files and database in a confidential manner all the time.
· Liaise with all governmental departments to ensure compliance with legal governmental requirements.
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
· Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisal processes.
· Track employee performance data for the management analysis purposes.
Employee Relations:
· Address employee queries and grievances promptly and professionally.
· Facilitate communication between employees and management.
Employee Engagement:
· Be part of the company committee and actively participate in planning and organizing the employee engagement activities and company events.
· Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through various engagement initiatives.
Training and Development:
· Coordinate the delivery of training programs according to the training plan.
· Maintain training records for training effectiveness evaluation.
· Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
Requirements
· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR role is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
· Knowledge in labor legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance) and HR best practices.
· Proficiency in HR Management System/HR Information System (HRMS/HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· People oriented and able to work with minimum supervision.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
· Language requirements: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
· Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Job Type: Internship
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
