Our #MKAGroupFinanceTeam is expanding! We are hiring for a result-driven Account Executive with a strong passion for financial accuracy within a multi-industry organization. This expert will be managing general ledger functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving pricing strategies across diverse business units (BUs).
What You Would Work On
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely postings across multiple business units and industries.
- Record and maintain journal entries for general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheets, accounts and sub-ledger balances regularly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor financial data integrity and support the implementation of internal controls and audit processes.
- Provide actionable financial insights to senior management and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA would be a plus).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on general ledger would be ideal.
- Experience working in a multi-industry or conglomerate organization is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (i.e. IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic and changing business environments.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (this role requires to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Working hours is 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
- We are fully on-site.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,028.70 - RM5,000.00 per month
