Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Geologist to support our ground investigation and reporting activities. This role provides valuable field and technical experience, with opportunities to work on diverse projects and grow in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Soil Investigation (S.I.) projects to ensure timely completion and compliance with technical standards
- Conduct fieldwork including logging of soil and rock description, in-situ testing (e.g., SPT, vane shear), and sampling for laboratory analysis
- Interpret and analyze data from field investigations and laboratory tests
- Conduct geotechnical engineering analysis based on interpreted subsurface conditions
- Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical and project-related matters
- Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and lead junior staff when required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geosciences, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in geological/geotechnical work is preferred
- Applicants must have a valid driving license and be physically fit for field assignments
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Familiarity with geological mapping, borehole logging, and data interpretation
- Understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, structural geology, soil and rock mechanics
- Ability to interpret geological maps
- Experience in laboratory testing of soil/rock samples and data analysis
- Possess own transport or willing to travel for site testing is an added advantage

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
