Role: Maintenance Lead (Certified Chargeman A1)

About this role:
We are assisting our client in hiring a qualified and certified Chargeman A1 to oversee and maintain all electrical systems at our facility in Batang Kali. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations while maintaining optimal operation of electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HV/LV systems (up to 33kV) and ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.
- Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical installations.
- Supervise junior technicians and manage safety protocols/risk assessments.
- Handle documentation, audits, and emergency response for electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Valid Chargeman A1 (A1 COC) certification.
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical maintenance (HV systems & switchgear).
- Strong knowledge of Electricity Supply Act 1990 and safety standards.
- Willing to work onsite in Batang Kali.
