We’re seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our center and provide essential administrative and basic accounting support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and visitors warmly and assist with check-ins and membership inquiries using our in-house record management system
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and respond to member questions promptly
- Maintain accurate records and update member information within our proprietary system
- Perform basic accounting duties such as tracking payments, petty cash management, and simple financial reporting
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic reporting tasks as needed
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with trainers and staff
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting
- Provide general administrative support to fitness center staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or front desk associate, preferably in a fitness center or similar customer service setting
- Comfortable learning and working with proprietary software or record management systems
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple formulas, formatting)
- Foundational knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment
Additional Requirements:
- Female candidate preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or accounting are a plus
