- Assist in the overall operations and strategies to deliver prompt annual review and post disbursement request of SME portfolio and to achieve customer’s satisfaction aligned to the overall strategic direction of Commercial Banking.
- Supervises and manages all aspects of customer’s request and accounts administration of the SME portfolio.
- Review and analyze course of action to be taken to improve loan asset quality of SME and to initiate timely R&R with the objective of preventing delinquent and NPL.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the subordinates and ensure key performance indicators are adhered to and monitored from time to time.
- Ensure Unit compliance with systems, controls and guidelines of the Bank.
- Analyze and recommend or approve (where applicable according to Delegated Authority) the annual review / amendment / R&R proposal put up by Credit Officer
- Review and monitor the EAR accounts to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented.
- To ensure compliance to the rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Bank, the Group and those of relevant regulatory authorities, as applicable, aimed towards achieving and sustaining operational excellence.
- To lead the team in terms of day to day decision making and being accountable for the overall performance of the team in line with the overall business strategy.
- To lead by example and inspire the team in order to build and sustain a high performance culture through appropriate coaching, mentoring and motivation activities.
- To ensure the proper preparation and timely submission of monthly or adhoc reports, as required.
- To undertake any other related tasks as determined by the management of the Bank from time to time.
People Management
- Manage the performance of the team members and enhance their competency in performing their responsibilities.
- Manage staff resources, reward performing staff and provide continuous coaching and monitoring of staff development.
- Manage officers/supervisors’ leave effectively to avoid operational processing issues
