Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their section of the kitchen, supporting menu development, and ensuring high-quality food preparation while maintaining efficiency and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels, place orders within budget, and minimize waste while ensuring proper inventory management and food cost control.
- Assist in menu planning and development by suggesting new dishes and improvements to existing recipes.
- Lead by example in the kitchen by guiding, training, and supporting junior chefs, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during service, such as ingredient shortages, equipment malfunctions, or other operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- Ability to manage time, work under pressure, and maintain consistency in food quality.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Creativity and passion for culinary innovation.
