We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Barista/Server to join our team. This dual-role position involves preparing and serving both coffee and alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating quality drinks, delivering excellent service, and maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere.
Responsibility
- Greet customers, present menus, and provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, communicate them to the kitchen or bar, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Provide exceptional table service, including clearing and resetting tables, refilling beverages, and handling customer requests efficiently.
- Handle payment transactions and ensure accurate billing.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and serving stations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Ensure the quality, presentation, and consistency of beverages.
- Manage inventory and restock coffee supplies, syrups, and other ingredients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Skills
- Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing methods is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and bartending techniques.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure.
