We are looking for a proactive and people-centric Assistant Outlet Manager to support day-to-day operations, uphold service excellence, and lead a motivated team. You will work closely with the Outlet Manager and Supervisor to ensure smooth shift execution, staff coordination, and a memorable customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily FOH operations, including opening/closing procedures, shift planning, and outlet cleanliness.
- Monitor service flow and guest satisfaction throughout the day; resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency align with brand standards.
- Support, coach, and motivate service crew and junior team members.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new staff; lead by example in upholding service excellence.
- Step in as acting manager during the Outlet Manager’s absence.
- Monitor daily sales performance and work with the team to meet outlet targets.
- Assist in inventory checks, stock ordering, and waste control.
- Ensure proper cash handling and POS reconciliation.
- Ensure adherence to all hygiene, safety, and brand SOPs.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and checklist reviews.
- Coordinate with kitchen and coffee/bar teams to maintain operational flow.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a café, restaurant, or similar F&B outlet.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail.
- Service-oriented with a hands-on approach.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
