About The Role
Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Research & Consultancy

Location: Menara Southpoint Mid Valley, KL (Supporting Johor Team)
Role Overview
Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role supports the Research & Consultancy team focusing on projects in Johor and the Southern Region. Responsibilities include conducting market studies, feasibility analysis, and preparing consultancy reports. The role requires occasional travel to Johor for site visits, meetings, and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies for Johor-based real estate projects
- Analyse property trends, demographic data, economic indicators, and development activity in the Southern Region
- Maintain and update regional databases and research materials
Consultancy & Reporting
- Prepare consultancy reports including market overviews, highest-and-best-use analyses, and investment recommendations
- Ensure data accuracy, professional presentation, and client-ready output
- Support the Johor team in delivering timely and high-quality deliverables
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including developers, government agencies, and consultants
- Attend occasional site visits and client meetings in Johor (travel as needed)
- Support proposal development and pitch preparation for new projects
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Johor R&C team and other Knight Frank departments to ensure aligned project delivery
- Contribute regional insights for national publications and reports
- Assist with business development and research-led marketing initiatives
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in property consultancy, market research, or related field
- Familiarity with the Johor real estate market is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
- Able to manage timelines, multi-task, and work with remote teams

- Detail-oriented, analytical, and professional
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
- Willingness to travel to Johor for site work and client meetings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
