Position: Assistant Manager (FOH)

We are a fast-growing British seafood brand (Muslim-friendly), known for our award-winning Fish & Chips. Our Damansara outlet focuses heavily on dine-in service, with steady delivery orders.
We’re hiring a hands-on FOH Assistant Manager who thrives in a busy restaurant setting, enjoys interacting with guests, and can support the Outlet Manager in leading the team, maintaining smooth operations, and delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-of-house team during service (mainly dine-in)
- Deliver excellent customer service — friendly, fast, and attentive
- Engage customers through table talk, upselling & loyalty sign-ups
- Support staff scheduling, task delegation, and team motivation
- Handle feedback and complaints calmly and professionally
- Maintain outlet cleanliness, appearance & SOP compliance
- Assist with cashiering, paperwork, and daily reporting
- Conduct staff training and performance follow-ups
Requirements:
- 3+ years in F&B or hospitality, ideally in a dine-in restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication & customer-handling skills
- Confident under pressure and able to multitask
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Fluent in Bahasa Melayu; basic English required
- Willing to work weekends, nights, and public holidays
