We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Banking & Operations to oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and support process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and experience in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily banking operations including payments, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Supervise and guide operational staff to meet performance targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Prepare operational reports and present insights to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking operations or related roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Strong knowledge of banking systems, compliance requirements, and operational controls.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
