- Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Review and approve financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Supervise AP, AR, and GL functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties.
- Oversee payment processing and ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and coach finance team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs for the finance team.
- Implement internal controls and improve financial procedures.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and highlight key business drivers.
- Partner with management to provide financial insights for decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS), tax regulations, and financial controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft BC and PowerBI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
